Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith.

  • God

We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Each are co-equals in their nature, power, attributes, glory and perfection. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14)

We believe Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary and is the Son of God and God the Son. (Isa. 7:14, Luke 1:35, Phil. 2:21-25)

We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

    (Rom. 3:24-25, 1 Pet. 2:21-25)

We believe that Christ rose from the grave the third day according to the Scriptures. (Matt. 16:21, Matt. 20:19)

We believe that Christ alone is our Great High Priest, and we need no other to intercede for us. (Heb. 10:19-22)

We believe that Christ will come again in person bodily and visibly, to establish His Kingdom on earth. (1 Thes. 4:13-18)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a the third person of the Godhead and convicts the world of sin. (John 16 8-11, Rom 8:9)

  • The Bible

We believe the whole Bible from Gen. 1:1 to Rev. 22:21 is the verbally inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2 Pet. 1:20-21)

  • Salvation

We believe that in order to be saved, the soul must be born again. (John 3:7)

We believe that Christ keeps those who are truly born again. (2 Tim. 1:12, John 10:28)

We believe that every truly born-again soul should declare his faith by the act of baptism (immersion in water); showing forth Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. This is the outward symbol of our faith as a wedding ring is the symbol of a marriage(Matt. 28:19-20, Acts 2:41-42, Acts 18:8)

  • Christian Living

We believe that all Christians are called unto a life of separation from worldly and sinful practices, and to a life of usefulness for Christ.

    (2 Cor. 6:17, 2 Pet. 1:2-9)

We believe that the local church is a body of baptized believers whose only mission is, not to “reform the world,” but to preach and teach the Gospel of salvation to the individual soul. (Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Acts 18:8)

We believe that the only true marriage is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. Any deviation from this is sin.

    (Gen. 2:24, Matt. 19:1-12, Rom 7:2, 1 Cor. 7:10, Eph. 5:22-23)

We believe that God has given the local church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel; both locally and globally to all nations.

    (Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:20)

We believe that Christians are to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to them. As a part of that stewardship, every Christian is called to faithfully give a tithe to the local church. (Gen 14:20, Prov. 3:9-10, Acts 4:34-37, 1 Cor. 16:2, 2 Cor. 9:6-7, Gal. 6:6, 1 Tim 5:17-19)

  • Future Events

We believe that at Christ’s coming in the air, the bodies of the dead in Christ shall be raised incorruptible and reunited with soul and spirit; the bodies of Christians who are alive shall be changed and glorified and, without dying, shall be caught up to be with the Lord.

The saved will then appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ and be rewarded for their works. After these things, Christ will return bodily and visibly to the earth, with His saints, and shall rule the world in righteousness for a thousand years. At the end of this time, the unsaved dead will be resurrected, and their judgment and condemnation shall take place. (1 Thes. 4:13-17, 1 Cor. 15:51-53, 2 Cor. 5:10, 1 Cor. 3:11-15, Matt. 24:30-31, Rev. 19:11-16, Rev. 20:5-6, 11, 15).
